Everyone seems to be buying things. Now it’s my turn!
2015 Kawi Ninja ZX-6R ABS 30th Anniversary Edition. Yea, it’s a mouthful. And holy, is this thing fast. Compared to my previous bike, a Ninja 400, this bike just goes... and I’m saying this while riding in “low” power mode and keeping it under 8k RPM until the engine is broken in.
So twitchy, so sensitive to throttle inputs, so much ouch on ma ballz. Will have to get used to the new riding position. I love being so tucked in though.

Whoo Ninja! I know you are probably a street rider and don’t care but you should take it to a dyno to break it in... more power for life :).

I heard this once from my boss who races. But he also suggested just street riding and getting on the throttle gradually (having trouble with the gradually part since it’s so sensitive!) up to half of redline and just rowing through the gears. Is there a mileage point after which a dyno break-in doesn’t make sense?

Did we exchange FB profiles a while ago? I seem to recall something like that happening but cannot find you...

That’s a sweet bike, congrats! The Gixxer was also on my radar but I decided that 750 would be just too much for me so I went with a 636.

Awesome bike, congrats! Throttle on sport bikes is super twitchy, especially in first gear. But man are they fun!
